My name is Mrs. Hosea and I teach Dual Enrollment English, Etymology, and ACT English. The most important piece of advice I can give students is to actually read all of your assignments. Research shows that better readers are better writers and better thinkers. Don't cheat yourself just to get a grade. Often, students struggle because for various reasons, but if you do your best, don't procrastinate, and communicate with your teacher you can be much more successful. Make sure you listen and ask questions. Don't rely solely on your peers for class information.
This is a new year and every single student has a chance to make this the best year yet. So, don’t forget that what you learn is equally, if not more, important that what grade you make.
