My name is Ms. Sporer and I teach English as a Second Language. The most important piece of advice I can give students taking English as a Second Language is to give each class and each teacher a chance. If you try and put in effort, then the supports you have will help you achieve your goals. Often, students struggle because they become frustrated or have low self-confidence, but if you trust your teachers and try to complete assignments, you can be much more successful.
This is a new year and every single student has a chance to make this the best year yet. So, don’t forget to be prepared, try to participate, take a chance, and be positive.
